POLICE: Decomposed body found near South Anchorage railroad tracks

A decomposed body was found near the railway tracks in South Anchorage on Wednesday night. Anchorage police say there was “nothing immediately suspicious discovered at the scene.”

The Anchorage area will likely see its first official snowfall for the season tonight. Snow totals will vary due to terrain but likely to see between one and three inches.
