Alleged kidnappers back in court

2 out of 3 men accused of kidnapped a teenager earlier this month and leaving the victim tied up Eklutna appeared in court Wednesday.


As police encourage Anchorage residents to exercise extra caution around the community, the Anchorage School District is implementing its own program to keep classrooms safer as well, but with a training plan that's become somewhat controversial.


Anchorage Police were back at Valley of the Moon park Wednesday morning searching the woods, near the enclosed dog park. At one time four police cars lined the bike trail near the woods as officer moved back and fourth with medal detectors.
