Alaskans enjoy day one of Arctic Thunder air show

For the first time since 2010 the U.S. Navy Blue was back at Arctic Thunder air show for the first time since 2010. With thousands of people coming to this event organizers encourage those coming to show up early.

Thousands of people will make their way to JBER this weekend but on Friday a select group of people got a preview of the big air show. Photojournalist Shawn Wilson captured their special show, in their own words.
