New policy limits displays of Confederate flag at Chugiak High

Officials at Chugiak High School have decided to prohibit the display of the Confederate flag on school grounds, except for the purpose of historical learning.

The University of Alaska has signed an agreement promising to improve the way it handles sexual assault and harassment complaints after a Title IX compliance review by the US Department of Education accused the university system of several violations.

Season ticket holders of the Alaska Aces define the meaning of die-hard fans, “In 12 years I have missed four home games,” said Rob Hager. He and Flori Hamilton, a fan since 2005, held the best seats at Pipers Restaurant & Sports Lounge as the Aces played an away game on the east coast.
