ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A new exhibit at the Anchorage Museum uses classic toys such as dominoes and tops to demonstrate physics and other scientific principles.

The museum says the games are a way to get curious kids to learn about science early.

Everything is hands-on and each day they offer mechanical demonstrations.

"We do three different demos-- we have a demo on roller coasters and a demo on tops and also on pulleys and they all explore the physics behind how these three things work," said Karen Mouton, of the Anchorage Museum.

"Science in Toyland" runs until the end of December. The hourly demonstrations are included with museum admission.
