ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Authorities in Ketchikan say charges will not be filed against the driver of a tour vehicle that struck and killed a California tourist in September.
Myong Thayer, 59, was a cruise ship passenger visiting Ketchikan when the accident occurred.
Thayer stepped in front of a moving bus owned by Alaska Amphibious Tours, according to police.
Police say toxicology samples taken from the driver found no presence of alcohol or drugs.
The death has been ruled an accident.
