ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- People angry over racial remarks made on air last week by KBFX-FM 100.5 disc jockeys Woody and Wilcox held a protest outside the radio station Saturday.
Dozens of protestors held signs calling for the termination of Chris Wood and Greg Wilcox, morning DJs for 100.5's "The Fox."
The protest is more fallout from comments describing a sexually degrading act toward Native Alaskan women.
The DJs have since been suspended but some people think that's not enough and are calling for the pair's termination.
"I'd like to ask them where is their mommas," protestor Jack Abraham said. "I would like to ask them how would they feel about you talking like this about Native women that's an answer I would like to hear from them."
Other at the protest had a simpler request.
"We would like Greg and Chris to come out and apologize," Glenda Frost said. "That would be nice."
The DJs apologized on air and are suspended indefinitely and without pay until they complete sensitivity training.
