ANCHORAGE, Alaska-- Gov. Sarah Palin has committed to working equally with all parties involved in the natural gas line project.
The governor signed an administrative order Wednesday that directs the state to work with project sponsors, such as the Alaska Gasline Port Authority.
She says Alaska is fortunate to be able to provide gas to the rest of the country after the state has had its fill.
"The goal here is to feed Alaskan markets first and then allow that gas to feed other hungry markets," said Palin.
She thanked both presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama for their ongoing support of the project.
Both have said they'll do whatever they can to move the plans forward.
