ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Supports come in all sizes, and some of Snowzilla's little friends came to his aide Thursday.
A group of small snowmen supporters were caught picketing outside of City Hall on the sidewalk, but they have since been removed.
The city says the building's maintenance worker who is in charge of clearing the sidewalk of snow removed Snowzilla's friends before the building opened Friday.
The city offered no comment about the snowmen.
Snowzilla's creator says he found out about them through a Web site created by anonymous supporters, and he drove to City Hall Thursday night to see them.
"There's a lot of folks who flat-out think this is Big Brother squeezing the little guy," Powers said. "But I didn't think anybody would go down to City Hall. I mean, they gotta kind of expose themselves out there at City Hall, you know what I'm saying?"
Powers told us he has no idea who created the snowmen.
