ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- An Anchorage teen was honored Tuesday for sharing his day-to-day challenges with other students.

Bryan Arnold, a student at King Career Center, produced his own video about living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. His message:  Even with his disabilities he's just like any other kid.

This weekend Arnold received the international Yes I Can award in Seattle. He was one of 27 students honored for their outstanding contributions.

Arnold has received several other awards for promoting understanding for those with special needs. The honors include the Muscular Dystrophy Association Personal Achievement award, the city's Good News Great Kids award, along with the statewide Spirit of Youth award.

He has sent his video to schools throughout the state to help share his message.
