Salvation Army receives donation

From left: Stacy Braun, executive director of the Aberdeen Area Arts Council; Michelle Bacon, founding partner of Empty Bowls; Major David Womack of the Salvation Army; and Ardell Melland, Empty Bowls main coordinator, hand two checks to the Salvation Army. One is for the Salvation Army's Backpack program, and the other for their other food programs. The checks were from money raised at the Empty Bowls Supper on April 21. All money raised from the supper will stay in the Aberdeen area for food progams.
