( February 6, 2013 ) Walters is a 2012 All-State selection out of Chamberlain HS after recording 78 tackles, 14 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries for the Cubs under head coach John King. Walters also earned All-State honors as a junior and is a three-time selection to all-conference teams in both Iowa (sophomore) and South Dakota (junior and senior). Off the field, Walters has participated in the Drake Relays in track and field, helping his former team to a Western Iowa Conference championship. Coach Dosch on Walters: "Jami is an active, physical defensive lineman who excelled at Chamberlain High School. His athleticism compliments his toughness and play making abilities." |
