Morning Anchor/Producer/Reporter
Are you morning person? A really early morning person? KTUU is looking for a talented and experienced co-anchor for Alaska’s dominant and expanding morning newscast.
We’re looking for a co-anchor who can help produce and deliver our two-hour daily newscast and “Today Show” news cut-ins. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer/producer and an energetic anchor with solid news judgment.
Following your morning anchor duties, the AM co-anchor will be expected to
report and turn stories during the first part of each day.
Yes, winters are tough getting started in the cold and dark hours.
A cheery disposition is a must!
Summers are fantastic with nearly 24 hours of daylight to enjoy.
Downside: Getting up at 2am. Upside: All day to hike, fish or ski!
It’s a small but dedicated team which owns the KTUU morning time slot.

Requirements: Two years anchor and reporting experience is preferred.
