Rebecca Palsha

Rebecca Palsha

Rebecca Palsha is the Senior Reporter and co-anchor of the Late Edition.

Rebecca was born in West Point, New York, but being an "Army brat, she's lived in several different cities and states throughout the United States (Alaska is her favorite, of course). She moved to Fairbanks during the summer of 2002 and soon began working at KTVF, a local NBC affiliate.

David George

David joins the KTUU “Morning Edition” team with 30 years of Broadcast Meteorology experience. He has previously covered a broad variety of weather events with meteorology stints in Texas, Oklahoma, Washington, Minnesota and most recently, 15 years of cold weather coverage in Wisconsin.

Ariane Aramburo

Ariane Aramburo joined KTUU in June 2014 as the Executive Producer and co-anchor of "The Morning Edition."

Abby Hancock

Abby Hancock

Abby Hancock is a general assignment and health reporter for KTUU. She joined the Channel 2 news team in December 2008 as an associate producer, eventually becoming the weekend producer and began reporting in 2011.

Steve MacDonald

Steve Mac Donald

Raised in Ohio, Steve and his wife Jan came to Anchorage in February 1981. They were only supposed to be here for six months so Jan could finish a project for the oil company she was working with at the time, but one look at the Chugach Mountains changed all those plans and the couple decided to make Anchorage their permanent home.

Jackie grew up in Anchorage and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1979. She attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., graduating in 1983 with a degree in communications and a minor in political science.

Tracy Sinclare is the Weekend Meteorologist for Channel 2 News. Having moved to Alaska with her family in 1972 when her father was transferred to Elmendorf Air Force Base, Tracy has many years of experience with Alaska winters and the vagaries of its weather.

Kevin Wells' dreams of an athletic career were shattered at the age of 10 when he was taken deep by his fifth grade gym teacher in a student-teacher softball game. Shortly thereafter, he turned his attention to sportscasting and hasn't looked back.

Corey Allen-Young can be seen reporting regularly during the week covering education and military issues affecting Alaska. Corey joined the KTUU family July of 2012 as the co-anchor on the "Morning Edition."

Samantha Angaiak is proud to call herself a lifelong Alaskan who grew up in the Yukon-Kuskokwim town of Bethel. She has been with KTUU since 2011 in a news production role and recently was promoted to the role of Reporter/Weekend Producer for Channel 2 News.

Dan Carpenter is a multimedia journalist at Channel 2 News. His stories feature his own work both in front of and behind the camera, as well as in the video editing room and through his skill as a writer.

Blake joined Channel 2 News in July, 2012 as a Broadcast Journalism graduate of Arizona State University. He has experience as a Multi-Media Journalist, Producer and Anchor with Cronkite News Service, KAET-TV and COX Sports in Phoenix and also previously worked at KPTV in Portland.

Caslon Hatch joined the Channel Two News team in November 2012 as a Multimedia Journalist for the “Morning Edition.” After more than a year of 2 a.m. wake up calls, she was promoted to Weekend Anchor in January 2014 while continuing to work as a Multi-Media Journalist and Reporter three days a week.

Mallory Peebles joined the Channel Two News team in August 2012 and is thrilled to be "taking on the Last Frontier." Having never stepped foot in Alaska prior to her KTUU arrival, she's looking forward to every opportunity in which she can explore what she is already referring to as "our beautiful state."

Reporter Austin Baird moved back to the Last Frontier in June 2013 to join the KTUU news team. He says, "the uniqueness of Alaska is what draws me back."

Garrett Turner joined the Channel 2 News family in January of 2013 with previous print, radio and on-air experience, as well as a Masters in Broadcast Journalism.

Marti Glaser joined the KTUU team in July of 2012 as a segment producer/reporter for the Morning Show Edition.

Marcus Lewis

Marcus was born in Newcastle, Indiana in 1947 and decided to move to Spokane, Washington when he was four years old. He took his mother with him. He went through the Spokane School District, much to his teachers' dismay, but was socially promoted year after year and with much reluctance, was given a high school diploma from Shadle Park High School.

Beth O'Donnell

Beth joined Channel 2 in January 2014. Born and raised in southern California, Beth had never visited Alaska before her move.  When Beth learned about Anchorage’s unique sports coverage, she didn’t need to know much more about Alaska before jumping at the opportunity to become a KTUU Sports Reporter.

Jeffrey Rivet is originally from Minneapolis, MN. He holds a bachelor of art degree in Graphic Design. When he saw the industry start to shift web centric, he decided to go back to school a for an associates degree in web design.

Shannon Riddle

Shannon Riddle joins the KTUU family after her service at another local TV station. Her experience there in production and web management has grown as she continues to work to bring Alaska the latest in news and local events.
