( Barbara Haddock Taylor, Baltimore Sun / July 12, 2012 ) Daniel Givens looked like a walking ad for a preppy men's clothing company. In fact, his co-workers admitted to referring to him as a J.Crew model. When we spotted the 26-year-old interactive designer at Vitamin, we couldn't disagree. Surprisingly, the only piece actually from J. Crew was his Timex watch. His light-blue denim shirt was from Jack Robie, and his dark-blue jeans, which he cuffed, were from Tellason. The Sperry top-sider desert boot gave the look a contempo-casual feel. Givens, a Charles Village resident, described his look as utilitarian, Sling Blade-inspired, American-made. He added: Keeping it simple is the key to great style. |
