Tygone Poteat, part of the lead paint removal crew for the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning, removes windows covered in lead paint in the livingroom of a home in southern Baltimore before installing new ones. One of the bills presented to lawmakers in Annapolis would mandate window replacement in any home where blood tests reveal a child has elevated lead levels.
