Checking ballots

Tara Andrews, alternate, democrat member; Eleanor Wang, vice chair, Board of Elections, republican member; and Barbara Logan, secretary of board, president of the canvas, democrat member, decide whether to accept, reject or recreate absentee ballots that there is some question about. Absentee ballots begin to be counted in the tight race between Baltimore State's Attorney Patricia C. Jessamy and her challenger, Gregg Bernstein.
