( US Presswire / December 4, 2011 ) Lardarius Webb and Cary Williams emerged as capable starting cornerbacks. Webb showed he had Pro Bowl potential. The Ravens were fortunate to grab Bernard Pollard as a free agent in the offseason and he had a strong presence in run defense. Pollard's emergence isn't a good sign that Tom Zbikowski or Haruki Nakamura are ready to be full-time starters. Rookie cornerback Jimmy Smith's progress was slowed by injury. |
