Dr. Richard Conklin, a longtime cancer specialist in Aberdeen, has joined Avera Medical Group Oncology and Hematology Aberdeen.
The partnership will involve major growth over the next few years that will help improve treatment for patients with cancer, according to an Avera news release.
He will continue to see patients at his current location, 620 Third Ave. S.E.
Conklin is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn., and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Oncology.
