ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
Walgreen Co.has issued a recall for chocolate-covered raisins due to a packaging error and undeclared allergens.
The recall was initiated after a customer reported having an allergic reaction to the product.
Walgreens discovered that some of the chocolate-covered raisin packages contained Walgreens Bridge Mix and did not declare the presence of peanut, almond, and soy ingredients.
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation has confirmed that the raisins were sold in Alaska, but no illnesses were reported in the state.
The back label has a best by date of "Oct 42012A1", UPC number 04902245661 and item number 280217.
