The vacant Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse property in Kenai has been sold.

The Peninsula Clarion (http://is.gd/7DXjHD) reports that JL Properties is the buyer.

The Kenai store opened in November 2008 and was closed in August of 2011, along with six other stores around the United States. The building has been vacant since then.

JL Properties says it has no plans for the property at this time. The company, which is the largest real estate development and management firm in Alaska, primarily purchases distressed properties.
