A report says most Juneau visitors prepare their trips to Alaska's capital city online.
   
That is according to a McDowell Group-prepared report for the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community & Economic Development. It says that four out of five visitors to Juneau plan online.
   
According to the Juneau Empire, the report says 90 percent of visitors who drove or rode the ferry to Juneau planned their trip online, and 66 percent researched and booked their trips that way.
   
The report found 37 percent of road and ferry users who visited Juneau booked airfare online.
   
The report says over a third of all visitors to Juneau booked city and sightseeing tours, while 27 percent signed up for wildlife viewing. It says one in five booked a day cruise.
