Something new is opening on the east side for Halloween.
The Boston family, which has run the Roller Cave for the past 35 years, is opening two new haunted adventures.
haunted house called “Asylum at the Cave”. In addition to the nearly 30 actors in place on busy nights, guest will experience high-tech scares activated by and motion and sound.
The kid-friendly version of the haunted attraction is called the “Crazy Kid Cave” and the grand opening will be Saturday October 6 from 2-5 p.m. The Kid Cave is a lights-on guided fun adventure. All kids will get something that blinks, flashes, or glows before they start the adventure. Upbeat music, group activities, and dance club lighting will combine to make it more of a party than a haunt.
Both Halloween adventures are located directly behind the Roller Cave skating rink, in the building known as The Bat Cave, at 8734 East 21st Street Indianapolis, IN 46219. The batting cages, basketball courts, and miniature golf, which are open the rest of the year, are temporarily closed for this Halloween season.
Both the scary and the kid-friendly versions allow guests to explore nearly the entirely redesigned facility, which makes for a 30 to 45 minute adventure. The walls and props are moveable, so customers can get back to swinging their bats in the batting cages as early as December.
