Diaz was a member of the 1996 US Olympic Team as a Light Welterweight, winner of the Chicago Golden Gloves four times and the National Golden Gloves three times (1993, 1994 and 1996) and National Golden Gloves light welterweight champion with a record of 78-16 in the amateurs. |
