Shopping for a new home can be competitive and arduous. One way to ease a little stress is to have a lender you know will be available to answer your questions at the moment you need answers.

Buyers may not think to ask a lender about their non traditional business hours but it’s an important bit of information that comes into play at crucial times.
“Answering phone calls, running numbers or getting a prequalification letter out on the weekends or evenings could be essential to getting your offer accepted,” Parker said. “When “the right home” comes up it is likely to get multiple offers.”
Buyers should be comfortable with their loan officer since they will be working together for the next few months.
“They will get to know, in-depth, a buyer’s credit and financial history and so, they should know that they can count on them at any time to get the answers and advice they need to make the best decision possible in their home buying process,” Parker said. “The bottom line is that they should trust their loan officer.
