Alaska Young Professionals Summit kicks off this weekend

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) It's the largest young professional organization in Alaska and this weekend, it's about to get even bigger. This year's summit kicks off Friday at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage. Those attending can expect two days packed with professional development seminars. Not to be confused with a job fair, the YPG summit focuses on networking opportunities. This year's keynote speaker is Adam Michaels. Organizers said they've seen the event grow.

"It's doesn't matter if you're in corporations or if you're an entrepreneur, the biggest thing is we're trying to cater to the full crowds, so it's going to be a great time and we really appreciate the support, said YPG Chair, Ron Dewitt.
