Candlelight vigil held for fire victims

ANCHORAGE (KTUU)- Sharing memories, laughter and wiping away the tears, dozens of people gathered at Fairview Elementary school Thursday night to celebrate the lives of 31-year-old Amy Miller and her two young children, Isaiah and Lily.

Isaiah was a kindergartner at Fairview Elementary School.

Jerry Reed, Amy's brother, said that the community's support has helped their family during this difficult time.

"Make every moment the most important moment with your family members," said Reed.

Reed said friends, family and anyone touched by Amy and her childrens' story are welcome to attend the services.

A gathering to celebrate the family's lives will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Janssen’s Evergreen Memorial Chapel.

Saturday, March 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Christian Community Church, a service and reception will be held.

The burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
