FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTUU) Alaska State Troopers say a Fairbanks man had to be rescued after getting stuck behind the platform of his shower.
Troopers wrote in a Sunday dispatch log, the 67-year-old “had fallen head first into a confined space and wiggled under the shower 3 days earlier.” According to AST, they were dispatched to the home on Peger Road for a welfare check.
The man called for help after troopers knocked on the door, the dispatch states.
Apparently the man was able to reach bottled water while he was trapped and appeared to be in good health, troopers wrote.
First responders were able to free the man by disassembling portions of the shower.
