PLAINS, Georgia (KTUU) Former president Jimmy Carter was back at his church in Georgia just two days after being hospitalized for dehydration.
"The doctors gave me all kinds of tests.” said the former president as he addressed the congregation. “The tests came back and said not only was my heart okay, but it has never been damaged in the past."
The 92 year old said this has been one of the busiest months he’s ever had. In the past week he was at an auction at the carter center, numerous meetings, went on a fly fishing trip in Alaska, and then left for Canada to build houses for habitat for humanity.
The former president will head to Atlanta on Monday to teach at Emory University.
