ANCHOR POINT, Alaska (AP) - A 24-year-old Homer woman was charged with felony and misdemeanor forgery, after Alaska State Troopers determined she had passed fake currency at Kenai Peninsula businesses.
Troopers say Rheanna Tussey twice Friday tried buying items at the Anchor River Store using fake cash, and bought a drink Saturday with fake bills at an espresso stand.
The coffee stand cashier provided troopers with a description of Tussey and her car.
Troopers contacted Tussey in Anchor Point, where they found her in possession of what they said was a large quantity of fake bills.
Online court records to not list her attorney.
