Police: Man stabbed multiple times following argument with neighbor

JUNEAU, Alaska (KTUU) Juneau Police say a man was stabbed several times following an argument with a neighbor Friday night in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue.

According to investigators, the 37-year-old victim “reported being stabbed multiple times in the back, head, arms and abdomen.”
Officers wrote in a release Saturday afternoon, “the preliminary investigation showed there was a verbal argument at a nearby residence, between the victim and a neighbor, which might have become physical. The neighbor's boyfriend and the victim engaged in a physical confrontation.”

Police officers recovered knives and a gun at the neighbors residence, which were allegedly part of the fight. The victim was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening, according to police.

Police say this is still an open investigation and no arrests have been made.
