After Wednesday rain, Anchorage could dry out

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Anchorage has been off to a rainy start this week, with more showers Wednesday morning. However, we could be seeing a break from that soon.

Anchorage will be under cloudy skies with a 50% percent chance of light on-and-off-again showers Wednesday, with a high of just 61 degrees plus wind gusts up to 20 mph.

We will have a low of 51 degrees tonight while under mostly cloudy skies but we warm up and dry off tomorrow with a high of 66 degrees with partly cloudy skies but partly sunny and 65 on Friday.

After some drier weather on Thursday and Friday, though, rain could return over the weekend. We'll have a better look at those chances come Thursday.
