ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A strong Spring storm is moving into the Bering Sea and will bring rain, snow and high winds to the western coastal areas of Alaska beginning Saturday night and spreading north on Sunday.
A mix of rain and snow will move into the region. Rain totals are expected to be near a half-inch to an inch and snow totals could be up to 5 inches.
The strongest winds will be around Little Diomede, southern Chukchi Sea Coast and the Bering Strait Coast. Winds are forecast to reach 50 mph in those areas.
