The King Career Center holds its Spring job fair

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Today, the King Career Center is holding its Spring Hiring Event. More than 70 businesses will be on hand to help students decided a career path. Everything from construction, healthcare, human services to hospitality are there to market exciting opportunities, in hopes of emerging Alaska's workforce.

"Businesses can have a better idea of what is coming down the road for the economy," said Sean Schubert with KCC. "And these young adults can find out what businesses, or what jobs, are out there that are going to be competitive in the future."

The April 5 spring hiring event will be broken into two sessions. Students can fill out job applications on the spot, and businesses will be conducting interviews and hiring on the spot.

The first session is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. And the second is from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., at 2650 E Northern Lights Blvd.
