ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Track Palin was released from custody Thursday morning, after being approved for electronic monitoring, on Wednesday. Palin, 28, was released from the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility around 11 a.m., after a friend paid his $5,000 bail.

Palin was charged with burglary and assault for allegedly breaking into his parents' Wasilla home and beating his father, Todd Palin, on Saturday night.

According to police reports, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was present during the incident. After she called police to report the incident, responding officers located her within a vehicle parked outside.

Channel 2 went to Track Palin's house to speak to him about the allegations; however, nobody answered the door.
