PACIFIC SATELLITE-RADAR: A long-wave upper trough and a shortwave are interactive and providing sporadic showers and gusty winds over southwest AK. Rain has spread into Southcentral and will become more of a factor tomorrow.

ALASKA FORECAST: The pressure gradient is rapidly tightening over the area which is bringing in some gusty winds to the typical areas such as Turnagain Arm and along the Copper River.There will be rain, but some of this wind could tend to push the precipitation farther west , or dry it out.
