Pat Quinn</a> responded to the news by saying the state's <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORGOV0000252" title="Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/illinois-department-of-commerce-economic-opportunity-ORGOV0000252.topic">Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity</a> would work to keep the company in the state. Sears has called the Chicago area home since 1887.

Pat Quinn responded to the news by saying the state's Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity would work to keep the company in the state. Sears has called the Chicago area home since 1887.
