This outpost of the Lake Street Vietnamese restaurant (about a two-minute walk away) cuts to the chase with a banh mi sandwich-heavy menu. Of all their creative takes, The Frenchman is my favorite — turkey confit'd in duck fat with pickled mustard seeds and candied kumquats. Exactly like Thanksgiving night in Hanoi.
