( File Photo ) 1974: Cowboys 24, Redskins 23 In a game between the Cowboys and Redskins, rookie quarterback Clint Longley took over for injured star Roger Staubach to lead the Cowboys to an improbable comeback victory. Longley threw two touchdown passes including a 50 yard connection to Drew Pearson with just 28 seconds remaining in the game. Unfortunately for Longley that was the lone highlight of his short career. He was out of the NFL after the 1976 season. |
