It is the finale; it is go time for the teams! Trey and Lexi are the first to leave the Pit Stop. Teams travel to Barcelona, Spain then catch a train to the Loire Valley in France. Once there they have to find the Garden of France.
While on the train, The farmers realize that the rest of the teams have an alliance. How oblivious can you be? Why do you think they hatched the Double-U turn plan to get rid of Abbie and Ryan? I wonder how they could not put 2 and 2 together.
Once the train stops, competitors rush to their car and they have to put 8 crates inside their trunk. Phil does some cool technique to show how new and innovative the cars are. We get it that these are promotional tools for marketing but let’s not make it tacky by being so obvious about it.
Once the cargo is loaded, racers can drive themselves to the Chateau De Villandry to find a stone dog. Every team is following each other. Brent and Josh use this to their advantage because they know the twins have a speed bump challenge to accomplish.
While at the chateau, the other teams realize that the farmers can speak French. Ugh-Oh! Teams find their clue which leads them to Leonardo Di Vinci’s resting place, Chateau D’amboise. But, the twins have stumbled upon their Speed Bump.
Speed Bump
The twins have to lace up a corset. Once they finish they can receive their next clue. They finish in no time but the other teams have a lead.
The rest just left the twins to complete the leg together. Chips and Texas stick with the Farmers because they can speak French. Josh and Brent are lost which leads the rest of the teams to be lost as well. Can the twins catch up?

Detour!
Chow or Plow
In chow, teams have to make the meal for a pack of hunting hounds.
In plow, teams use a traditional horse and plow to get approval of a properly cultivated field.
Chippendale’s chose plow while Texans and farmers chose Chow. Only two teams can attempt each detour. If the twins chose plow then they have to switch to the other forcing them to waste time. Lucky for them, they have experience making dog food. #GrandparentBondingTime
Texans switch to plow at the last minute and they are the first there so they have priority in the decision. Only one more team can join them in the detour so who will it be, Farmers or Chips? Trey and Lexi are digging deep in their southern root to accomplish this task.
Team Sri Lanka is the next team to arrive! They made up serious ground. It is Josh and Brent vs. Natalie and Nadiya. As they chop their meat, they trash talk each other. It is a pretty hilarious exchange between the two teams. The Farmers find a strategy to find all the meat with no bone to cut first so they can fill the buckets faster. The Gays fill two buckets first and are pulling an upset on the twins.
Trey and Lexi finally finish their detour. They travel to La Cave des Roches. Jaymes and James are hot on their heels.
Roadblock: Are you a Fun-Guy?
One person has to look for mushrooms. Teams have to find 3 different mushrooms then find 10 of them inside a dark spooky cave. Lexi and Jaymes represent their teams. Lexi gets the approval and their team heads to the Pit Stop at the Chateau de Chenonceau. They got lost and Chippendale’s win first this leg of the race
The twins and farmers are at the roadblock at the same time. It is a fight between the two, Natalie and and Brent. Natalie edges out Brent but it will come down to the drive to the Pit Stop. Josh and Brent edge out the twins in the end after navigation issues to the chateau.
It is disgusting that Josh and Brent are still in the race. The twins basically handed the farmers a lifeline in the competition. It’s kind of funny how it bit them in the butts. However, this team is very enjoyable and is the type of girls who you want to be friends with. They surely made this season enjoyable.

James and Jaymes are the first to leave the pit stop. Teams travel back to the United States to New York City. They are given a postcard of Coney Island and have to figure out that there is where they need to go. The farmers have home field advantage to this leg but historically speaking, the team who knows the area in the last leg never wins. Let’s hope history keeps up!
The plane lands and teams sprint to the taxis. Coney Island here they come! At Coney Island, teams try to find where the clue awaits. It is very subtle but a sign has ‘The Amazing Houdini’ that looks like a route marker envelope.
Trey and Lexi figures it out and Josh and Brent zones in on the clue. The Chippendale’s are out of it.
Teams race to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Roadblock: Who is ready for an AMAZING escape?
Teams have to perform a Houdini classic. Wearing a straitjacket, teams have to hang upside down and escape the jacket. Once freed, they drop by a bungee cord. Yikes!
Trey and Brent attempt this roadblock. Trey dominates this and is off to the Lombardi’a pizzeria, the first pizzeria in New York City. Once there, they ask for the owner, John.
Once at Lambardi’s, teams deliver 10 pizzas to 3 addresses. Josh and Brent catch up to the Texans and Chips are falling out of it. However, the farmers delivered pizzas to the WRONG address. Trey and Lexi have a commanding lead.
The owner gives the team a symbol of the United Nations. Trey and Lexi must proceed to the headquarters to receive their next clue.
Roadblock: Who has a way with words?
The person who didn’t do the previous roadblock has to match the greetings of the 9 countries they visited with their flags. Lexi has to do this challenge and so does Josh. The Chippendale’s caught up and it’s a 3 way competition.
They are all taking educated guesses. This could have been a great challenge for Sri Lanka as they have a heads up on some flags and phrases from their heritage.
2 and half hours go by and the teams are still figuring out this challenge. Talk about an anti-climactic end and Josh and Brent are actually killing it. Well killing it for being 2 hours in. It is really between Chips and Farmers.
