Teams stay in Indonesia for this leg of the race. The Twins and Texans lasso up the Chippendales to find the next location. Teams must find Antika Restaurant. Once they get there, they encounter a ROADBLOCK!

This roadblock tests the competitors’ waiter skills. One team member must balance 20 plates of pandang food on their arm and serve it to the customers. If a plate is dropped, then they have to start over. Texans, Chippendales, Gay Goat Farmers and Rockers all make their way to the restaurant easy. The Twins are lost due to their taxi driver. They even say it to his face that he is the worst taxi driver ever. If I was that driver, I would drive the complete opposite way, to the shore, and drop their butts right into the ocean.

Lexi attempts her waitering skills, first, and drops plates on first try. James and Ryan complete their mission and are off to the next destination, the Surabaya Gubeng train Station. When they get there, they have to find the fastest train to Bangil, Indonesia.

Chippendales, Ryan/Abbie, James/Abba, and the Texans are on the 7:36 am train to Bangil. The Twins are hot on their heels and it is close to see if they will make the train. As they run to the tracks, the train choo-choos away.

Bad news for Sri-Lanka because the next train doesn’t leave until 10:50am. That is a 3 hour lead, lost, in a matter of minutes. The remainder of the teams catch up which relieves Gary and Will due to their inability at the race. Like seriously, they are the slowest team, yet, they survive leg after leg.

On the first train, the teams decide not to use the U-turn. They know they have a 3 hour lead over the next train; therefore, it is silly to waste a U-turn on them or the people behind them.

The first train lands in Bangil and they have to use a Becak. A Becak is a form of transportation that is similar to a cycle rickshaw.

DETOUR

Lion’s head or egg head.

In lion’s head, teams have to dress up in traditional lion costume for a procession. The mask weighs over 40 pounds and the weight rests in the teams’ mouth.

In egg head, teams must find 4 eggs from a market. Then, they have to find a magician who will cook the eggs on a pan over their head. Oh, their heads will be on FIRE! Oh yeah, exciting.
