ANCHORAGE, Alaska -

The Youtube video turned internet meme called “Sh*t Girls Say,” has spawned plenty of copycats with some Alaskans creating their own versions.

The Outward Bound Collective, an Eagle River based business specializing in professional photography and video, spent a weekend with other local photographers and made its own spin called “Shtuff People Say to Photographers.”

In a matter of days, the video went viral, picking up over half a million video views, and was reposted on several popular photography blogs.

Every now and then, viewers send the KTUU news desk fun videos shot here in Alaska. Here’s Susan Olsen’s email explaining “Moose Like Bull” video:

My husband and I were out [on Feb. 10] in Petervsille riding our snow machines when we came up onto a moose on a well groomed one track trail.  Needless to say, the young moose didn’t want to get off the trail and charged my husband.  I was right behind my husband on the trail which was scary enough but when I watched the video it made me shutter even more.  The GoPro was attached to the side of my husband’s helmet.”

The Northern Lights need little explanation as to why it captures people’s attention and the Denali National Park Service shared a time-lapse of the Aurora captured in Denali National Park from 11:53 p.m. - 1:25 a.m. on Feb. 14.
