A video recently shot in Unalaska showing cats, a bald eagle, and a fox hanging out on a woman’s porch, is going viral on YouTube.

“After I took the video I realized, wow, this is a good one to kind of show people that they're not out to kill each other,” said Pam Aus, the Unalaska resident who shot the clip, which has been viewed nearly one million times since it was posted earlier this week.

“We all kind of just coexist in this town,” she said.

Eagles are everywhere in Unalaska, Aus said, and for years they’ve been perching on her deck just feet from her cats.

Other clips showing the cats getting along with the bald eagle have been viewed thousands of times, but the clips have not gained the level of popularity of the latest video where the fox joined in.

“Goodness, that's incredible!” commented one viewer.

Others expressed concern that Aus was attracting the animals with food, but she said she does not feed them.

Aus said she used to scraps for a stray cat, but when she saw the fox eating it, she said she stopped.

“I wouldn't say that they’re tame, it’s just that they’re so used to being around people all the time,” said Aus.
