Photo Gallery: Kodiak Boat Restoration

The Kodiak Maritime Museum is restoring a historic wooden fishing boat, the Thelma C, which will soon go on display down at the harbor. The vessel is believed to be the last of the 'tidal wave' boats, built quickly, with federal assistance, following the 1964 Good Friday earthquake and tsunami. (KTUU-TV)
