Photos: Historical Remains Found in McGrath

Construction workers discovered human remains in McGrath in early October 2012. A state archaeologist discovered two additional sets of remains, along with artifacts. MTNT, Limited, the village corporation of McGrath, is working with Tanana Chiefs Conference to date the remains.

The remains were found in current-day McGrath, which is across the river from Old McGrath. The current location was established in the 1930s and 40s after a flood.
