“The Dark Knight Rises” and “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” two of the most anticipated movies of 2012 released official trailers online this week.
“The Dark Knight” is the conclusion to director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and Christian Bale reprises his role as Bruce Wayne and Batman. It's the second official trailer for the movie.
“The Hobbit” is the prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Peter Jackson steps in as director. The fantasy adventure follows Bilbo Baggins played by Martin Freeman.
Both trailers were released on Monday and have gained nearly a million views in total as of Wednesday morning.
“The Dark Knight” is set open summer 2012 and “The Hobbit” is set to open winter 2012.
