ANCHORAGE, Alaska—
BBQ Spot Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 Cup Butter1 Cup Olive oil
1 Cup Chili sauce
3 Tbl Worcestershire
3 Tbl Lemon juice
1 ½ Tbl Garlic
2 Tsp Parsley
2 Tsp Organo
2 Tsp Cayenne
1 Tsp Tabasco
3 Tbl Liquid Smoke
1 Tbl KSP (Kosher salt and pepper)
4 lbs Alaskan Spot Shrimp
Procedure:
1. Add all ingredients, EXCEPT SHRIMP, combine over double boiler, wisk often till butter is melted. Do not over heat or boil, set aside.
2. Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees.
3. Toss shrimp in sauce to coat, spread shrimp evenly over small sheet pans and roast for 6-8 minutes or until shrimp are heated through and slightly charred.
4. Be sure shrimp are in a singular layer and not stacked on top of each other.
