WASILLA, Alaska -- There was more shake up from the Wasilla Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday: board member Chas St. George resigned.
Last week five other board members resigned after the executive director, Cheryl Metiva, came under fire for allegedly misusing chamber money for manicures, massages and other personal items.
Metiva issued a statement Monday night saying, in part, that the credit card charges in question have already been addressed and resolved.
There was a new seven-member board in place Tuesday after an impromptu meeting where six new board members were chosen and sworn in.
Quentin Allgood, who owns a computer company in the Valley is the only remaining original board member.
