ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A federal judge in Anchorage says he'll hold a hearing Nov. 14 on whether to dismiss charges or order a new trial for former Alaska state Rep. Pete Kott.

The Eagle River Republican was convicted in 2007 of corruption charges but released from prison in June when prosecutors acknowledged they failed to turn over favorable evidence to the defense.
