( PATRICK RAYCRAFT/HARTFORD COURANT / July 16, 2010 ) Mozzicato Caffe on Franklin Avenue in Hartford, and now also at 125 New Britain Avenue (across from the Laurel Lanes bowling lanes) in Plainville, is the place to find and enjoy gelato. The Caffe serves seven flavors including pistachio, nocciola (hazelnut) and vanilla. Gelato is typically served in a chilled dish accompanied by biscotti or cookies. Gelato is Italian ice milk, and its aficionados would argue more delicious than traditional ice cream. |
